Reproduction

Equine reproduction encompasses many services such as stallion semen evalutaion, mare artificial insemination, assistance in foaling and foaling emergencies, and ultrasound.
Bone/Joint Health

Bone and joint health means assessing lameness, navicular, hoove problems such as laminitis and founder etc.
Coggins Testing

The Coggins test checks for Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA), antibodies in the horse's blood. EIA is a viral disease for which there is no vaccine and no cure. Testing ensures that we do not put healthy horses at risk. The disease is spread by horseflies, and blood samples must be sent to a state approved laboratory. This test is required to take your horse to a show and whenever you transport your horse across state lines. Some states now require a negative Coggins test on a horse before he can be sold.
Equine Dental

Floating means to smooth or contour your horse's teeth with a file called a "float". Horse's teeth wear down as they age. They can develop sharp edges, or some teeth grow taller than neighboring teeth, making it difficult for them to chew food, hold a bit, and they will experience pain and discomfort inside their mouth. Floating allows the teeth to be ground down to proper size and shape allowing more comfort and proper use of the teeth.
Emergency Services

These services can include colic situations, foaling emergencies and wound emergencies. After hours emergency calls are also available to established clients and will include an additional after hours fee. If it is necessary due to inabbility to be transported, a veterinary ambulatory call can be scheduled.
Radiology

Equine radiology can be used to diagnose fractures, navicular, bone disease, bone and joint health etc.
Ultrasound

Ultrasound can be very useful in assessing pregnant mares, diagnosing internal health, and sometimes muscle and tendon health.
Soft Tissue Surgery

This service can include suturing wounds, removal of tumors, removal of proud flesh, castration etc.
